Editorial Policy

SawariPK exists to help people in Pakistan make better decisions about electric bikes and scooters. This page explains how we research, write and update our content.

Our goal

We write for buyers, not for brands. Every article should answer a real question that people ask before buying, charging, financing or selling an electric two-wheeler.

How we collect prices and specs

  • We collect prices from official brand websites and price lists, authorised dealers and showrooms, and official brand social media pages.
  • When a price changes, we update the model page and keep the old price in its price history.
  • Every model page shows a "last updated" date.
  • Range and top speed are labelled as manufacturer claims. Where we give a realistic estimate, we explain how we worked it out.

How we write guides and comparisons

  • We check facts against primary sources wherever possible: brand websites, official government portals, bank documents and regulators.
  • We use reputable news sources such as national newspapers and established auto websites for news, owner experiences and market reports.
  • We name our sources at the end of each article.
  • When information conflicts, for example two different prices from two sources, we say so and tell readers to confirm with the dealer.
  • When we make an estimate, such as monthly running cost, we show our assumptions so readers can adjust them.
  • We say clearly when we have not tested something ourselves.

Updates

Prices, schemes and tariffs change often. We review our most popular guides regularly and update them when information changes. Updated articles show the latest update date.

Independence

  • SawariPK is funded by advertising.
  • Advertisers cannot pay to change prices, specifications, rankings or comparison results.
  • Sponsored content is always labelled.
  • Brands do not review or approve our articles before they are published.
  • If a writer has a personal connection to a brand in an article, we disclose it.

Use of tools

We may use software tools, including AI tools, to help with research, drafting or editing. Every article is reviewed by a member of our team, facts are checked against sources, and the final content is our responsibility.
